There's this LateNightTales series where artists are allowed to create mixtapes with their favorite tracks. The French duo Air did this in an absolutely inspiring way years ago, whose LNT volume is perhaps the most coherent and atmospheric mixtape ever. Back then we still had the shake baby shake blog and colleague Whirlyjoe and I posted a track every three days in memory of the Air LateNightTales and finally combined them into a mix. Joe mainly brought in his knowledge of film music and I went more in the folk direction, but not only. I think our mix is almost as good as Air's. And that's saying something. The tracks can be selected individually.
