In the 90s, Glitterhouse Mailorder was at the forefront of Americana/No Depression. Back then I contacted a lot of bands and often bought their CDs directly in large quantities. So that you don't necessarily buy a pig in a poke, I came up with the Luxury Liner series, which each contained a track from the discs offered by GH Mailorder (at the time all CDs). There is also a 16-page booklet with one page per volume (there were always 14), everything together in a digifile (pure cardboard).
Hearing it in the here and now brings back plenty of memories, all positive ones. It's clear why these bands and artists grew close to my heart back then - they were all really good. This is a pretty good overview of the best bands at the time as well as a lot of obscure ones.
Now as a neat 4-CD-R box. Limited and numbered to 25 copies
