Auf der limitierten Deluxe Edition finden sich neben einem 36-seitigen Hardcover Buch gleich drei CDs. Auf den ersten beiden CDs gibt es wie auch digital die neue Single “Brand New Toy“ plus der Paul Weller Classics-Kollektion von 1999 bis 2014. Die letzte CD bringt bislang 12 unveröffentlichte Weller-Session-Tracks auf BBC Radio oder aus den Abbey Road Studios.
„2014's More Modern Classics covers more ground than its 1998 predecessor, packing in 15 years and seven studio albums into its 21 tracks. There are more songs here but not necessarily more hits. … Weller may have had bigger hits in his first decade of solo stardom but these second 15 years often produced richer music.
