"A record for blues purists, but one from the treasure trove. The exceptional white singer Paul Williams (including Juicy Luicy) went to the band in 1973 with a few friends (Glenn Campbell, Bob Hall, Spencer Davis, Alun Davis, Jon Mark). Studio to pay acoustic homage to his idol, the Delta blues legend Robert Johnson, who died in 1937. With an extremely sparse cast (without drums or brass), Williams interprets seven songs (Terraplaine Blues in two versions) with a rough throat and a confident style. Short playing time (33'32"), long durability!” (Audio)
